Michael dressing curtains
One of todays installations involved the fitting of a pelmet and curtains into a bay window recess, the fabric involved was a Prestigious Textiles fabric lined in cream poly cotton twill.
We started by removing the old curtains and valance and filling any holes that were left by the old tracks. We then proceeded to bend a swish metal track to shape and to fit it into the window recess, the pelmet board was then cut to size and secured it to the wall.
Once we had finished it was time for Michael to hang and dress the new curtains whilst I added the pelmet. After steaming the curtains it was time to tie them into their pleats to allow them to set over night.
We also fitted a matching pair of curtains in the dining room but this time with a pinch pleat heading and burnished brass pole from the Jones Interiors Lunar Range.
